Professor Glauco is a Gracie Barra Black Belt with extensive experience coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu across all levels. He is known for his clear, structured teaching style and strong focus on fundamentals, technical detail, and safe, consistent progression on the mats.His classes emphasise efficient, practical jiu-jitsu that works for everyone — from beginners building confidence to experienced students refining their game.Under Professor Glauco’s leadership, students benefit from a professional, disciplined, and supportive training environment that reflects the core Gracie Barra values.

Rob started Judo at the age of 7 and has been involved in martial arts as a grappler for nearly 40 years. Rob won three European masters medals and a world masters Silver.

He is also a UKCC Level 1 Judo coach and competed for over three decades winning the BJC as well as Golds in BJA tournaments such as the London Open.
